Remote Desktop Services lets users run desktops and applications on your Windows Server 2019 from anywhere. Each connection needs an RDS CAL in addition to the normal Windows Server CAL. Per-user RDS CALs are assigned to a person, who can connect from any device.

Delivery & activation

1. Your licence key is emailed to you and saved in your account.
2. On your licensing server, open Remote Desktop Licensing Manager and choose Install Licenses.
3. Enter the key and pick the CAL type (per user or per device) that matches your order.
4. Your Remote Desktop Session Host can now hand out the CALs.
