Windows Server 2019 User CAL

Description

Licence people, not machines

Windows Server Standard and Datacenter require a Client Access Licence for every user or device that connects. A User CAL lets one person access your Windows Server from any number of devices — ideal when staff use a laptop, a desktop and a phone. These CALs are for Windows Server 2019 (and earlier versions).

Delivery & activation

1. Your licence details are emailed to you and saved in your account.
2. User and Device CALs are licence rights: keep the proof of purchase with your server licences — no software install is needed.
3. Assign one CAL per user or per device that accesses the server, depending on the type you chose.
